Wheelchair Access
I noticed that there were several people in wheelchairs at the Festival. As I was leaving at some stage, somebody was discussing going in with a wheelchair and feeling trepidatious about mobility on the grass.
At the very least, the grass should be mown short soon before the Festival.

Actually the grass WAS mowed two days before the festival.
Perhaps we could have electric wheelchairs available.

Assessing the 2010 Canberra Electric Vehicle Festival
To all - once again, many thanks to everyone involved in a great team effort.
Rudi Tuisk (GM, Tesla Australia) has repeated his statement that it was a 'world class' event, and is happy for us to quote him on this.
In providing your feedback to the festival wrap-up page, could I ask that you do a few things:
1. Nominate your overall performance score for the event on a scale of 0-10 (no criteria - just your personal assessment)
2. Indicate up to 3 things that positively affected your score ("good things")
3. Indicate up to 3 things that negatively affected your score ("bad things")
4. Indicate one significant thing that you'd like to see added or improved for next year ("suggestions")
5. Indicate how you would like to contribute to next year's festival

Paul's assessment
Score: 8/10.
Good things:
- number of vehicles - of both DIY and on-the-road categories.
- barriers for demo area
- no generators
Bad-ish things:
- put exhibitors in two lines rather than one long string.
- I didn't hear (from my position half way up the line) any announcements of what was happening. I'm assuming that there weren't any, because I could hear Peter answering questions about his car.
- gokarts?
Improve:
- More teslas :-)
Contribute:
- I aim to be there earlier to help set up, to be there all day to help pack down and to have the bike ready so I can give rides on it. I also want to have my electric mower going :-)
