Why Electric Vehicles?

Why would people want electric vehicles?

Here are some reasons:

  • can run on 100% renewable energy
  • can recharge from ordinary power point
  • don't use imported oil (or any oil!)
  • mechanically simpler and so less maintenance
  • cheaper to run
  • quieter
  • no exhaust
